With Sterling joining the District, NVRDD now provides emergency communications services for:

This expansion further strengthens regional collaboration while providing Sterling with access to a modern, fully accredited regional communications center equipped with advanced technology, enhanced redundancy, and highly trained public safety telecommunicators available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
“This transition represents the culmination of incredible teamwork,” said Anne Camaro, Executive Director of the Nashoba Valley Regional Dispatch District. “Regionalization is about creating stronger partnerships, improving service delivery, and ensuring our communities have access to resilient, reliable communications. We are excited to officially welcome Sterling into the NVRDD family and look forward to serving its residents, visitors, and first responders for many years to come.”
The successful cutover would not have been possible without the dedication of countless individuals who worked behind the scenes to ensure a seamless transition. NVRDD extends its sincere appreciation to the leadership and personnel of the Sterling Police and Fire Departments, the Town of Sterling, the Massachusetts State 911 Department, CM Geeks, Guardian IT, Modular Communications and the many public safety professionals and project partners who contributed their expertise throughout the process.
